Using your existing degree as an introduction, the Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of Newcastle is a two year program, producing highly competent and fully qualified graduates ready to enter a rewarding career as a secondary teacher.

Throughout the program you will examine the key concepts and theories from educational philosophy, psychology and sociology as they relate to teaching and learning, explore language as a social practice, the principles and practice of quality teaching, the use and conduct of educational research, the integration of new technologies into learning and curriculum essentials for the discipline/s you are preparing to teach.
